Chocolate
Making Workshops - (Chocolate Travel)
There are many companies who offer
chocolate making workshops and one
of those is buyagift.co.uk. The workshops very often
take the form brief introductions and then a short look
at the history of chocolate, a look and tasting of some
chocolates and then a practical session where you get
to make your own and learn how to add the toppings.
In England, London and Bournemouth
are two of the most popular destinations with courses
starting from £30 and costing anything up to £300.
Intotheblue.co.uk
have a couple of courses including a course in Chancery
Lane in London which I attended and found to be excellent.
The course was held by an expert chocolatier
and similar to many other courses and workshops I have
attended for chocolate making, the course started with
a look at the history, some tasting and then a practical
element. A lot of people on the course seemed to enjoy
the practical part of the course the most and several
people seemed to find a lot of amusement in trying to
get the toppings done correctly.
With intotheblue the course such as
the one I attended, took place in a proper kitchen
and took approximately two and a half hours. For chocolate
making courses can be found online.
Pauls View: Very enjoyable and a lot
of fun.
